How To Use The Stage One Training Course:

  1.  Choose which subject you wish to study. You can study either methodically or in your preferred order.
  2.  Read the learning goals. This ensures you understand what you are expected to achieve once you have completed each subject.
  3. Click onto each title and begin studying all of the included content. Complete all of the online sections within this subject to ensure you have all the relevant information required for the BHS stage one exam.
  4. Complete all of the practical tasks. These tasks should be performed frequently, until you are accomplished, to ensure you can perform and speak practically in the exam. Once you are well rehearsed, and before taking the BHS exam, we recommend you ask a BHS instructor to observe you performing all the practical tasks.
  5. Use the online revision quizzes to test your knowledge on each subject.
  6. Download and print out the PDF revision worksheet and complete the exercise. Check your answers are correct online, then store in a folder and use to revise for the exam.
