Once you have completed Fitting Tack & Boots you will be able to:

1. Put on and fit a standard bridle. 

2. Fit a snaffle bit. 

3. Identify and talk about different types of nosebands. 

4. Put on, fit and remove:

   • a flash noseband. 

   • a grackle noseband. 

5. Recognise and discuss the various types of breastplates.

6. Put on, fit and remove a hunting breastplate.

7. Fit a saddle.

8. Check a saddle for a broken tree.

9. Identify and have knowledge about different types of boots.

10. Put on, fit and remove:

    • brushing boots.

    • fetlock boots.

    • over-reach boots.

11. Care and store boots correctly.

12. Discuss how tack should be stored.
