Place the shavings fork under the droppings.
To prevent throwing away clean bedding – gently shake the fork from side to side, over the bed. This will cause the clean bed to fall through the gaps between the fork prongs.
Place in the skip or wheelbarrow.
Repeat for the other droppings.
Wearing rubber gloves, pick up any small droppings that have been missed by the fork.
Level and neaten up the bed and bankings.
Tidy up any loose hay on the floor, and then sweep the area of the stable without bedding. Make sure the horse has the correct quantity of hay.
Check the water for cleanliness and amount.
